Why BFUT? Our Philosophy

Since 1987, BFUT has been at the forefront of soccer education, dedicated to sharing the Brazilian philosophy of the game. Our approach is a supplemental methodology that focuses on developing a player's "mental speed"—the ability to make quick, intelligent decisions under pressure. We believe in a top-down curriculum that equips and empowers young athletes and the coaches who guide them.

BFUT Soccer Academy

Our youth program is designed to introduce kids to the beautiful game and guide them through their early teen years.

School (Ages 5-7): Our introductory program focuses on creating a love for soccer in a fun and healthy environment.

Competitive (Ages 8-15): This program analyzes and develops player intelligence, applying our methodology to prepare young athletes for higher levels of competition.

Summer Camps: We encourage players to continue their development through our focused camps during vacation.

Individualized Performance Training (IPT)

This program is for elite athletes with the goal of competing at the highest levels.

Individual Professional Training (Ages 15-23): We identify and address the specific needs of each player, using functional training to improve their technical abilities and in-game responsibilities.

Pathways to Success: We guide athletes toward their goals, whether it’s securing a collegiate scholarship, becoming a professional educator, or signing a professional contract. This level includes the highest competition and exposure.

Exchange program opportunities: BFUT facilitates short-term exchange programs for players ready to practice internationally with Brazilian soccer clubs.

Instituto Brasileiro de Futebol (IBF) - Coach Training

Our non-profit arm, the Instituto Brasileiro de Futebol, is dedicated to educating the next generation of soccer coaches.

Educating the Educator: We provide a one-year coaching course that transforms coaches into true educators of the game, empowering them with our methodology.

Certification Levels: The program offers three levels of certification: Level 3 (40 hours), Level 2 (80 hours), and Level 1 (120 hours).

Career Opportunities: Coaches who complete our program may qualify to become official BFUT Soccer Academy educators, contributing to the growth of the game globally.
